On July 8, Quesada Burritos & Tacos officially opened its 150e restaurant in Edmonton.

The company’s milestone coincides with plans for continued growth that include a national ghost cooking partnership and the opening of new restaurants across Canada throughout 2021.

“The pandemic has proven just how strong the love for Quesada’s unique and authentic version of burritos and tacos really is. Our fans stayed with us as we weathered the storm. This prompted us to focus more on growing at a faster pace across the country before going international, ”said Steve Gill, Founder and CEO of Quesada Burritos & Tacos.

More than 20 restaurants are slated to open in 2021, with British Columbia and Ontario among the brand’s fastest growing markets.

This year, Quesada will partner with REEF kitchens will be available in ghost kitchens in downtown Toronto starting in August with plans for expansion across the country later this year.

“It expands our reach and allows even more people to discover Quesada. We’re excited about this because we know that once people try us they get hooked, ”said Gill.

Throughout the pandemic, Quesada continued to support environmental and humanitarian causes as part of his menu of cuteness through charitable partnerships with Second Harvest, David Suzuki

Foundation and the Red Cross. The company also launched Canada’s first-ever biodegradable burrito wrap to divert 100,000 pounds of aluminum foil from landfills by 2025 and launched its first-ever NHL playoff ad campaign.
